Key duties include day-to-day accounting, liaising with budget holders, bank reconciliations and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policy bulletins. The position offers a competitive day rate up to £250.

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement financial monitoring and reporting per the Financial Strategy and Vision.
• Provide day-to-day management of the accountancy function with meetings with budget holders and preparation of financial reports.
• Oversee treasury duties, including bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
• Provide financial support to non-financial colleagues.
• Ensure adherence to legislation and guidance including Financial Regulations and Protocols.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with Local Council, External Funders, ONS, Benchmarking Groups.
