Job summary

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks is looking for an Assistant Project Manager based in Inverness. This role involves supporting the successful delivery of transmission projects and managing a multi-skilled project team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or engineering, a good understanding of health and safety regulations, and expertise in project management tools like Primavera P6. You will work closely with the Project Manager and ensure projects adhere to budget constraints and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a project environment, ideally within construction and/or engineering.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements, CDM Regulations, and Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of a multi-skilled project team for transmission projects.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities with the Project Manager.
• Maintain cost control and promote commercial awareness throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with tender documentation and contract specifications.
• Ensure project teams operate in line with safety expectations.
