The successful candidate will operate plant systems safely, prepare equipment for maintenance, and control permits, ensuring production integrity. Qualifications

• Experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
• Knowledge of SIRP, PTW, and ORA.
• Solid technical background.

Job description

Join our client’s operations team at Wytch Farm, Europe’s largest onshore oil field. Our client is a leading Oil & Gas Operator!

We’re seeking an experienced Operations Technician to safely operate the site, support maintenance activities, and ensure production integrity.

The Role:

• Operate plant systems safely and efficiently
• Prepare equipment for maintenance, including isolations and hydrocarbon freeing
• Control permits as Performing and Isolating Authority
• Carry out routine checks and report any issues
• Keep procedures and documentation updated
• Participate in emergency response and safety initiatives

You will have:

• Time-served trade apprenticeship
• Strong technical background qualified to a minimum of HNC or equivalent
• Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry experience
• Solid knowledge of SIRP, PTW, Process Safety, and ORA

Shift Pattern:

7 x 12-hour days, 3 off, 7 x 12-hour nights, 18 off, plus 15 additional shifts annually
