A leading global social media and technology company is seeking a Monitoring Specialist – Broadcast Operations to support scaled operations across its family of digital platforms. This role will focus on the real-time monitoring and technical support of high-profile Live broadcasts, ensuring seamless execution for premier partners.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in video operations, streaming or broadcast technology, and thrive in fast-paced environments. You’ll be instrumental in troubleshooting issues, escalating them to the right teams, and collaborating across technical and operational stakeholders to deliver flawless Live experiences.
Monitor top-tier Live broadcasts across the company’s suite of social and video platforms
Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate broadcast issues in real-time to internal technical teams
Work closely with Technical Analysts, Engineering, Operations, and Partnerships teams
Conduct initial investigations and root cause analysis of broadcast disruptions
Lead projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines and quality benchmarks are met
Provide ongoing status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency on deliverables and issues
Maintain strong documentation and workflow processes to support continuous improvement
Proactively flag risks and contribute to mitigation strategies in Live operations
Consistent, high-quality monitoring and support of Live broadcasts
Timely escalation and resolution of technical issues
Clear and effective communication with stakeholders
Ownership and successful execution of operational projects
Regular reporting on progress, challenges, and improvements
Strengthened cross-functional collaboration and operational visibility
2+ years of experience in video content operations, broadcast operations, or related media/tech environments
Solid understanding of Live streaming workflows, streaming software, and broadcast technologies
Technical familiarity with contribution pipelines, transcoding, signal paths, and closed captions
Experience in real-time network monitoring and troubleshooting within a Live environment
Strong multitasking and project management skills in fast-paced settings
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Flexibility to work variable shifts, including potential overtime during major events
Experience with large-scale social media, streaming platforms, or OTT video services
Previous work in studios, media networks, or digital video production environments
Hands-on experience supporting high-visibility Live broadcasts
