Job summary

The University of Glasgow invites applications for a part-time role in Lifelong Learning to deliver Access/Open Learning courses online via Teams with occasional campus labs. Classes run in two 11-week blocks starting September and January, on Wednesday or Thursday evenings (1830-2130).

Qualifications

• Honours degree or equivalent, with development in similar role.
• Knowledge of subject area to the level required.
• COSCA trainer accreditation or willingness to work towards in 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching and assessment online, face-to-face, or blended.
• Assist with design and development of teaching materials.
• Provide timely student feedback and mark assignments/exams.
• Support student learning and practical work.
• Contribute to curriculum development under supervision.
• Use learning technologies to support delivery and assessment.
• Attend mandatory UofG training and maintain records.
• Record hours and submit monthly pay claims.
• Maintain weekly attendance records and encourage course feedback.
• Perform other duties as required by Head of WP&LLL.
