As a product manager you will be joining a passionate team; a team obsessed with giving our customers value, but also with an eye fixed on business results. To do this, you will work alongside your squad, our user experience team and stakeholders across the business. Together, your digital products will give our customers a brilliant online experience.
This role will sit within our Grocery Home Shopping Fulfil & Serve Product team, who are responsible for all our Online Fulfilment Systems – or in other words, responsible for the technology that powers in store picking, order management and payment systems for Asda Grocery Home Shopping customers.
It is a critical time for digital at Asda. We are making a massive move from legacy systems to a best-in-class retail tech stack - a critical and exciting mission. You will join a dedicated community of e-commerce product managers, working together, to support and encourage each other to make great stuff happen for our business and customers.
What does the role involve?
Manage the core product from ideation, discovery, design and development, to release including:
· New feature development
· Prioritise opportunities in line with our product strategy
· Use data to make sure we work on what brings most value to our customers and Asda
· Find and assess problems to solve and document stakeholder requirements
· Collaborate with UX designers to create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes
· Collaborate with Integrations and Solutions Architects to ensure technical designs meet customer, user and business needs
· Provide direction for multi-disciplined squads on scope and detailed requirements
· Work with engineering teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of features and enhancements
· Build stakeholder partnerships to align goals, objectives, and vision
· Ensure the continuous improvement of the user experience through user research
· Always champion the voice of the customer
· Use data, market and technology trends, and user insights to tell compelling stories
· Manage and prioritise the team's feature backlog to ensure focus on key objectives
· Ensure continuous improvement of our processes by partnering with your product colleagues
