Pay is very competitive at 360 USD per lesson developed (teaching is paid separately). We are looking for top quality teachers who will be able to commit to the development of at least one 15 lesson course in English Language Arts in an area of their expertise - novel theme studies, essay competition lessons, basic and advanced grammar, Shakespeare and more are all currently in demand. School Description

JadeClass Education Singapore is an English language training center that provides enrichment education to bright students who plan on attending university abroad. Our students vary in age from 6-16 and are carefully screened for English level, behavior, and motivation. We focus on teaching concrete skills that will help students in their learning endeavors.

We are seeking talented, knowledgeable teachers to help us expand our catalog of live online courses. Successful candidates will be cooperating with our in-house course creation team to write, test, and revise courses with topics ranging from elementary writing to analyzing Shakespeare and everything in between.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver well-planned, engaging online classes in a 1 on 8 format
• Create, test, and revise lesson materials conforming to our standards
• Commit to developing a full course of 15 lessons

Schedule

Development meetings can take place any day of the week between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 UTC +8 (Singapore time). Lessons take place on the weekends during the fall and spring, and Monday-Saturday during the summer.

Course Description

Our Small Group Online Courses place one teacher with a group of eight students for a course of study. Each week, the class meets online on the ClassIn (classin.com) platform for two 90 minute lessons. Lessons are fully prepared by our design team with every in-class activity planned out in detail, and recordings of the lesson from experienced teachers are provided to clarify teaching expectations. Interaction with students includes multiple choice activities, student-submitted written work, and direct oral interaction.

Compensation

• 360 USD per newly developed lesson - includes in-class materials as well as homework, grading keys, and supplementary materials
• Teaching hours are paid separately - 75 USD per 90 minute lesson

Remuneration is through Wise (wise.com), monthly, between the 10th and the 12th of the month.
