Elite Recruitment Solutions are looking for an Online Customer Support Assistant for a successful growing business within the Topsham area of Exeter (EX3).

This is a full-time position offering a salary of up to £25,500 per annum DOE, along with some fantastic benefits such as social events, onsite parking and much more. This role will require you to work 36.25 hours 5 days a week with the chance of occasional weekend work and will be office based working within a small, friendly and welcoming team.

What You’ll Do as an Online Customer Support Assistant:

  • Be the first point of contact for online customer enquiries
  • Action and respond to customer queries online (web chat), via email and via the telephone
  • Manage website orders, dispatches, returns and fulfilment
  • Work closely with suppliers to monitor stock and delivery statuses
  • Support order processing using Shopify and the internal CRM system
  • Assist with goods-in and out, especially during peak periods
  • Help maintain accurate inventory records

What You’ll Need to have to be an Online Customer Service Assistant:

  • A customer-first approach and strong communication skills
  • High attention to detail and solid database management skills
  • The ability to respond to volume customer queries on a daily basis
  • Experience with order processing and website admin (ideal but not essential)
  • Confidence with IT systems, including Microsoft Office and Excel

To achieve the higher salary, you will need to demonstrate your ability to meet the key criteria’s of the role by past experience and during the interview process
