Overview

We are looking for colleagues to pick and prepare orders for home delivery, assist customers, process queries, and support loading vans. The role involves working in a fast-paced, physical environment with flexible shifts and opportunities to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Picking and selecting the best quality products on the shop floor that online customers have ordered ready for delivery, or providing substitutions when items are out of stock
• Using a handset to plan your route around the store, select needed items, and manage time to complete each shop
• Working behind the scenes to handle customer queries, process orders, and help load the vans for Home Delivery Drivers
• Being ready to serve customers, answer questions, and proactively offer help
• Building strong product, service, and promotion knowledge to provide recommendations
• Working flexibly across the store as required
• Happy with early morning starts (most shifts start at 4am) and able to work in a fast-paced, physical, high-energy environment, often solo but also able to thrive as part of a team
• Friendly and welcoming with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, using initiative to solve problems and taking responsibility for owned tasks
• Willing to work flexibly and productively to a high standard across the store; will receive comprehensive training to learn and develop new skills
• Comfortable learning to use new digital tools and technology to perform the job and moving shopping containers up to 15kg
• Maintains great attention to detail, keeping the store clean and clutter-free to create the best shopping experience
