Job summary

Une agence de tutorat réputée recherche un tuteur SEN à Canterbury pour offrir un enseignement sur mesure aux enfants actuellement hors de l'éducation. Cette position convient à des enseignants expérimentés cherchant à se tourner vers des leçons personnalisées et engageantes. Les candidats doivent avoir les qualifications appropriées et une expérience souhaitable en travail avec des besoins éducatifs spéciaux.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 mois d'expérience de travail dans une école au Royaume-Uni.
• Doit posséder un DBS amélioré enregistré avec le service de mise à jour en ligne.
• Formé à la protection de l'enfance dans l'année écoulée (souhaitable).

Responsibilities

• Fournir des leçons individuelles adaptées pour combler les lacunes dans l'éducation des élèves.
• Travailler étroitement avec Prospero Teaching pour suivre la progression des élèves.

Job description

• Duration / Likely Duration – Dependent on each student.
• Contract type – Temporary.
• Full time/part time – Part time and full time depending on availability.
• Rate of pay: £25 per hour

Prospero Teaching is looking for an SEN Tutor in or around Canterbury to provide tuition for Children currently out of education.

As an SEN Tutor, you must be able to deliver 1:1 tailored lesson to bridge gaps in pupil’s education and boost engagement and attainment levels. This opportunity is great for an experienced teacher who is looking to step away from the classroom to offer more personalised, enjoyable lessons.

Prospero Teaching will work with you closely to monitor the progression with each pupil and support effective learning.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
• 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
• Experience working with SEN or similar.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
