Job summary

Shaw C of E Primary School in Melksham, Wiltshire, is seeking a friendly One to One Teaching Assistant for a fixed-term role. You will work with a pupil on a 1:1 basis under the guidance of the Class Teacher and SENCO, supporting learning and progression through targeted activities.

The post is 17.5 hours per week, term-time only, during school hours. A background in supporting children with SEN/SEMH and strong relationship-building is essential; experience with interventions will help you

We couldn’t do what we do without our fantastic staff team, and we are looking for a friendly, caring and inspiring Teaching Assistant to join our hard-working team and work with a child on a 1:1 basis. You would be working with the Class Teacher and/or SENCO to meet the needs of an individual child, including activities and interventions to support their learning and progress.
