Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting for a Level 3 TA to work in a mainstream primary school in Sutton Coldfield. The role is full-time and will involve supporting a pupil with Global Developmental Delay and Speech and Language difficulties on a one-to-one basis. Start asap, until the end of the academic year, with potential to continue.

Knowledge of EYFS and KS1 is essential; MAKATON experience preferred but not essential. Recent primary school experience within the last two years is desirable.

Qualifications

• Level 3 TA qualification is required.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND on a one-to-one basis.
• MAKATON experience preferable but not essential.
• Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum.
• Recent primary school experience within the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Support a pupil with Global Developmental Delay and Speech & Language difficulties on a one-to-one basis.
• Deliver guided learning sessions and creative interventions to support reintegration into the mainstream classroom.
