Job summary

Aspire People Limited in Sutton Coldfield is seeking a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Global Developmental Delay and Speech and Language needs on a full-time, one-to-one basis.

The role requires knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curricula; MAKATON experience is a bonus. Start date is asap until the end of the academic year, with possible continuation beyond that date.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (NVQ / CACHE preferable).
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND on a one-to-one basis.
• Knowledge of EYFS and KS1 curricula; MAKATON experience is preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support a pupil with Global Developmental Delay and Speech and Language needs on a one-to-one basis.
• Encourage learning through guided sessions and creative intervention.
• Assist with reintegration into the mainstream classroom.
