Job summary

Coley Primary School is seeking a caring SEND Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a pupil with additional needs. This fixed-term post runs 28.75 hours per week, term time only, 8:30am to 3:15pm, until 31 August 2027.

You will work closely with the Class Teacher and SENCO to support emotional wellbeing, access to learning and personal development. We value warm, patient, and resilient staff who can build trusting relationships and contribute to an inclusive school

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Ability to work in a school with safeguarding expectations.
• Willingness to learn and reflect on practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support for a pupil throughout the school day.
• Support access to learning and emotional wellbeing for the pupil.
• Collaborate with the Class Teacher and SENCO to monitor progress.
