Hours: Casual

Salary : £17.14 to £34.40 per hour (depending on qualifications)

Start Date: September 2025

Outwood Academy Redcar, seeks applications from outstanding applicants with integrity, imagination and energy for this rewarding role. We are seeking to appoint a committed individual to work as part of a dedicated team. We seek someone who can effectively support selected students through individually tailored programmes of One to One tuition in Maths.

We welcome applications from people who:

considering a career in teaching and wish to gain experience

• are looking to return to teaching

• hold an AS/A-level Maths

• are able to demonstrate that they can work with individual students to progress their learning in Maths

or

• have subject specific knowledge of Maths at Key stage 4

Outwood Academy Redcar welcomes students aged 11-16, located in the scenic coastal town of Redcar near Middlesbrough in the North-East region.

You will be joining a strong department with a wealth of experience in teaching Key Stage 3 and GCSE maths. The department will be led by our experienced Head of Department, with a vision to succeed. Leadership development, succession planning and capacity building are major priorities for the Trust as this enables us to facilitate rapid progression for those who want to advance either in the classroom or at a leadership level.
