Job summary

Hanley Castle High School invites applications for a patient, calm and empathetic individual to provide one-to-one personal care and support for a pupil with an EHCP, meeting physical, emotional, and educational needs with dignity. You'll assist with physiotherapy, feeding and communication, and work closely with teaching staff to promote full inclusion.

Training will be provided, including hoist and eye gaze technology.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people and EHCPs.
• Willing to undertake training to support the pupil, including hoist and eye gaze technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one personal care and support for the pupil.
• Assist with physiotherapy, feeding and communication.
• Work closely with teaching staff and professionals to support inclusion.
• Follow safeguarding requirements and participate in training as needed.
