Job summary

TeacherActive Limited seeks a fluent Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant for a full-time position at a mainstream primary school in Caldicot, Wales. The role requires supporting a child with autism ASD on a one-to-one basis throughout the school day.

The successful candidate will assist with learning, engagement and development, working closely with teachers to foster an inclusive classroom environment. Immediate start available for a dedicated, reliable practitioner.

Qualifications

• Fluent Welsh language skills.

Are you a fluent Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with autism?

Are you passionate about providing dedicated one-to-one support to help a child engage with their learning and school environment?

Are you able to commit to a full-time Teaching Assistant role?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school based in Caldicot. The school is looking for a committed and enthusiastic fluent Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant who can provide consistent support and contribute positively to an inclusive classroom environment.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis starting ASAP. The successful Teaching Assistant will work one-to-one with a child with autism / ASD, providing individual support with their learning, engagement and development throughout the school day.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Fluency in Welsh
• Experience supporting children with autism / ASD
• Experience working with primary-aged children
• The ability to provide effective one-to-one support
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
• The ability to commit to the role on a full-time basis
