Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a supportive, friendly Support Worker to assist a client in Flint, North Wales. You’ll provide personal care, accompany her to activities, and offer companionship within a stable, one-to-one arrangement in a 1-bedroom bungalow.

The role requires 2–3 day shifts weekly (8:30–12:30), 4-hour daytime shifts, and every other Sunday. A driver is essential; female applicants only per ROE. NVQ qualification may influence rate.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and reliable caregiver with a friendly approach.
• Able to support personal care and daily activities.
• Able to encourage wellbeing and physical activity.
• Committed to consistent attendance within a small care package.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dressing, undressing and light washing tasks.
• Accompany to gym and promote physical activity.
• Provide companionship and gentle prompting during quieter moments.
• Work as part of a one-to-one care arrangement in a cozy bungalow.
