About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. The role involves working in a fast-paced retail environment, providing excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments, and maintaining the store’s appearance.

You will be responsible for:
  • Serving customers with passion and pride, providing natural service.
  • Encouraging customer feedback through surveys.
  • Working across various store areas including online, tills, replenishment, vending, and stock routines.
  • Practicing safety in all tasks.
  • Participating in seasonal, community, and charity events.
  • Understanding store performance and contributing to profit.
  • Living company values and following policies.
  • Clocking in and out accurately.
  • Following security procedures and wearing safety equipment.
  • Following the 'think 25' policy for age-restricted products.
  • Responding promptly to assistance calls and self-checkout interventions.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organized store environment.
  • Potentially managing shifts in absence of supervisors.
  • Following training to ensure safety and legality.
  • If applicable, managing Post Office operations and passing necessary background checks.
