Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Senior Staff Nurse – Day Surgery to work in an exceptional independent private hospital near Central London. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers.

This hospital is one of the UK’s largest independent charitable hospitals, committed to high-quality patient care, a broad range of services, and excellent staff and consultants.

**Qualifications:** Must be a Registered General Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

Key Duties:
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding patient admission and treatment.
  • Complete documentation accurately and timely, following hospital and NMC guidelines.
  • Adhere to ward and hospital policies, professional standards, and ensure team compliance.
  • Be a clinical expert within your specialty.
  • Provide excellent, evidence-based nursing care.
  • Assess patients, plan, implement, evaluate, and document their care.
  • Create a welcoming, caring, and safe environment for patients and families.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and staff, especially during distressing events.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • At least 2 years post-registration experience in relevant specialties.
  • Experience in shift management and team leadership.
  • Ongoing training and professional development.
  • Strong clinical skills and excellent communication.
  • Professional commitment, self-awareness, motivation, and leadership qualities.
Salary and Benefits:

Up to £38,854 per annum DOE. Full-time, 37.5 hours/week. Benefits include:
