GSK is seeking a highly capable Statistician to join the R&D Oncology Statistics - Early Clinical Development team in London or Stevenage. You will lead statistical design and analyses across clinical programs to support development decisions and regulatory strategy.

Successful candidates will mentor statisticians, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and apply advanced methods including simulations to shape trial design. Location flexibility may apply as projects require.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in statistics/biostatistics; oncology experience preferred.
• Proven track record in early and/or late-phase clinical development.
• Experience with simulations and statistical methods using R/Python or similar tools.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for explaining methods to non-statistical colleagues.
• Strong organisation and time management across multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Provide statistical support to projects across Oncology pipeline.
• Review and contribute to analysis plans, protocols and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate statistical insights into program strategy.
• Mentor statisticians to build capability and quality.
• Manage statistical design, analysis and interpretation across development phases.
