Job summary

Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust is seeking an oncology clinician to provide safe, timely and compassionate care for adults with cancer, within the Clinical Oncology team under consultant supervision. The post may support one or more tumour-site teams according to service need, with duties matched to training and competence.

Responsibilities include taking clinical histories, reviewing investigations, formulating management plans, and contributing to MDT meetings to support treatment

• Assess and manage patients in outpatient, inpatient and acute oncology settings.
• Support delivery of radiotherapy pathways, including assessment and treatment planning where trained.
• Support systemic anti-cancer therapy pathways, including assessment and review of results.
