Job summary

AbbVie UK is seeking a Medical Advisor to join the Medical Affairs team in Oncology. You will support the development and implementation of medical affairs strategies, provide scientific leadership, and build strong relationships with thought leaders across the UK.

You will contribute to clinical and real-world research initiatives, support brand medical strategy, and ensure compliance with ABPI guidelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is highly desirable for communications across departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement medical affairs strategy within Oncology for AbbVie UK.
• Provide medical/scientific leadership and input into clinical and real-world research projects.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with external experts and academic centers.
• Deliver training to sales forces and other departments ensuring ABPI Code compliance.
• Support pre-approval access programs and contribute to medical dossiers.
