Job summary

We are looking for an Oncology nurse with significant Oncology experience in caring for patients with cancer. You must have an understanding of systemic anti-cancer treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiotherapy, and be motivated to continue developing a service in CAS caring for Gynaecology patients.

The successful applicant will work in collaboration with members of the multi-professional team, coordinating a smooth pathway of care.

You will be an expert resource to patients, carers, and clinical teams in relation to Gynaecology cancer. This will include working autonomously, managing a caseload of patients, and developing and setting up Nurse-led clinics.

Main duties of the job

1. To help develop the oncology Gynaecology service at NUH
2. Act as a lead for oncology Gynaecology nursing care
3. Act as a resource to the wider cancer team and other tumour sites
4. Work closely with services already in place for Oncology & Palliative Care in providing holistic and age-appropriate care
5. Provide specialist training across functional boundaries as required
