Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Clinical Research Nurse for the GI and Lymphoma Unit at Sutton. You will manage a portfolio of GI oncology and lymphoma studies, recruit, educate and monitor patients, and work under the Senior Research Nurse to ensure high-quality data and patient care within GCP guidelines.

Candidates should have clinical research experience, oncology nursing background, and be registered in the UK.

Qualifications

• Post registration oncology qualification or equivalent and CPD.
• Experience in clinical research and oncology nursing.
• UK professional registration is required.
• Competence in research orientated PC software such as Access, Excel and SPSS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate arrangements for patients undergoing specialist investigations within the research protocol.
• Assess, monitor and follow up patients receiving trial treatment per protocol.
• Collect and accurately record data in line with trial requirements.
• Contribute to design and preparation of trial documentation and information sheets.
• Safeguard trial integrity by ensuring compliance with ICH GCP guidelines.
• Support running multiple concurrent research studies.
