The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in Sutton is recruiting a Staff Nurse (Band 6) for a 12-month fixed-term contract, 37.5 hours per week. You will coordinate shifts, deliver evidence-based cancer care and participate in the running of clinical trials under the supervision of Ward Sister/Charge Nurse.

Applicants must be an appropriately registered nurse with oncology experience, able to work flexibly across shifts and contribute to infection control and care quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• NMC Registration published and active.
• Ongoing professional development evidence.
• RMH Certificate in Intravenous Drug Administration or obtained within three months.
• Qualification in oncology or speciality.
• Diploma or Degree level study (or equivalent).
• Recognised teaching qualification.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and supervise a shift within the multidisciplinary team.
• Exercise clinical judgment about patient needs and long-term goals.
• Participate in clinical trials, including recruitment, education and monitoring.
• Ensure nursing care in accordance with the NMC code of conduct.
