Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Dietitian to join our Upper GI and Oncology Service at Watford General Hospital. You will be a clinical lead for dietetic care, providing input to inpatients and contributing to service development.

The role includes training student Dietitians and supervising junior staff, within a supportive team of 17 dietitians. There are opportunities for professional development and CPD in a forward-looking service.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration and eligibility to practise in the UK.
• Knowledge of dietetic care for oncology, GI and ICU patients.
• Commitment to CPD and high-quality governance in dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide dietetic input to Upper GI oncology inpatients and surgical cases.
• Work within the MDT with Specialist Nurses and Consultants on developments.
• Train student dietitians and supervise junior staff.
• Contribute to audit, education, and CPD activities within the service.
