Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is seeking a Band 7 clinical pharmacist to join the expanding oncology pharmacy team. You will support inpatient services, contribute to EPMA rollout and develop specialist knowledge in oncology and independent prescribing while providing education to staff and patients.

The role involves participating in weekend rotas and out-of-hours duties, with opportunities for further professional development within a leading cancer centre.

Qualifications

Oncology clinical pharmacy experience.
Hospital ward pharmacy experience.
Independent prescribing qualification or in progress.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality clinical pharmacy and medicines supply for oncology patients.
Support dispensary, aseptic, satellite units and C@ sites.
Lead EPMA system maintenance and staff training.
Develop specialist oncology knowledge and engage in research.
Work as independent prescriber within a disease group with MDT.
Offer education to nursing, medical staff and patients.
Participate in weekend and Bank Holiday rotas and out-of-hours duties.
