Job summary

The Alexandra Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, in Cheadle, is hiring an Oncology Clinical Lead to shape and grow our oncology service. This full-time role involves leading a multidisciplinary team, driving clinical governance, and expanding private and insured patient pathways.

We offer a 37.5 hour week with a salary up to £50,000 depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits. You will oversee cancer care delivery, ensure adherence to UK guidelines, and develop consultant

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
Specialist experience in oncology nursing, including SACT administration.
Recognised Level 7 qualification in oncology nursing or cancer care (e.g. UKONS SACT Passport, chemotherapy competency).
Strong leadership and people management experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of safe and effective care to oncology patients, including those undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, radiotherapy, and palliative care.
Ensure adherence to national oncology guidelines (e.g., UKONS, NICE), protocols, and treatment pathways.
Oversee compliance with regulatory, professional, and organisational standards (CQC, HIS, HIW, NMC).
Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and mentorship for nurses and support staff.
