Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester invites applications for substantive Consultant Radiologists with a special interest in oncological cross‑sectional imaging. You will be eligible for GMC Specialist Register within six months and join a 27‑strong consultant team.

The post is based mainly at Withington, with scope for home working, and includes 2.5 SPAs per week for audit, teaching and research, plus a consultant on‑call rota.

Qualifications

• Eligible for GMC Specialist Register within six months of interview.
• Experience in cancer imaging across CT, MRI, Ultrasound and PET.
• Interest in routine interventional radiology can be supported.
• Experience of chairing Cancer MDTs is expected.
• Research and education involvement is integral to the service.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior diagnostic imaging input across CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
• Contribute to multiple MDTs with subspecialty expertise.
• Participate in the consultant on-call rota.
• Support audit, CPD, teaching and research activities.
