Job Description

As a member of a team providing services to a UK Prime, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Support in the concept creation for software changes and new development implementation based on the project context and applicable documents (Development Plan, System Requirements Specification, Architecture Design Document, Validation Plan, Verification Plan, etc.);
• Responsible for creating test plans and procedures, ensuring they are complete, consistent, and aligned with the Requirement Baseline and Test Specification;
• Execute test scripts, log and manage defects following internal processes;
• Provide clear test execution reports with results and outcomes to the development team;
• Participate in creating unit, system integration, and hardware/software integration tests;
• Assist in implementing automation and management tools.

Qualifications

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computer science, aerospace, or a related field;
• Proficient in software design and testing in resource-constrained/embedded environments using C, C++, or Java;
• Experience with Linux environment development, design, and system thinking;
• Experience in software integration, performance testing, and debugging at the hardware level for complex systems;
• Experience in requirements analysis and implementation;
• Knowledge of development tools such as VSCode, Eclipse, JIRA, Git, Jenkins;
• Ideally, experience in Space/on-board software environments and related processes.
