Salary: £37,000 - £39,000 + Benefits

We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Onsite Support Engineer to be the face of our IT team, covering the Northern area of the country . This is a hands-on role where you’ll be the go-to expert for infrastructure issues that require on-site resolution, ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services across our UK operations.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide hands-on technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents efficiently, escalating when necessary.
  • Set up and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Collaborate with remote IT teams to ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and asset inventory.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes including device provisioning.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience in a desktop support or IT technician role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft) are a plus.
  • Specialist technical knowledge in Windows 11, Citrix technologies, Active Directory, Microsoft applications
    (including Office and Outlook/Exchange), desktop and laptop hardware, software deployment technologies,
    McAfee antivirus, remote control software, network administration, TCP/IP, printers (various types) and VPN
