DCS Recruitment is seeking a Section Engineer for a major highways and infrastructure project at Old Oak Common, London. The site-based role reports to the Package Manager and focuses on engineering oversight, contractor coordination and programme delivery rather than routine site work.

The ideal candidate will have highways and utility experience, strong setting-out skills, and a CSCS card with SMSTS. You’ll work with stakeholders across disciplines to meet safety, quality and programme

Qualificações

• Experience as a Section Engineer, Site Engineer or Assistant Package Manager within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong highways experience with utility interfaces.
• Proven ability to coordinate contractors and manage interfaces on a major project.
• Knowledge of constructability, planning and programme management.
• Valid CSCS card and SMSTS qualification.
• Safety, quality and environmental awareness in line with standards.

Responsabilidades

• Support management and delivery of highways and utility packages.
• Coordinate contractors and monitor delivery against programme objectives.
• Provide engineering oversight and technical support across the works.
• Review designs and temporary works requirements.
• Maintain health, safety, quality standards and project documentation.
• Support pre-construction planning and stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor progress and identify risks with mitigations.
• Manage interfaces between disciplines and work packages.
• Collaborate with commercial, planning and design teams.
