Job summary

AQ Wiring Systems Rockford is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our Quality team. This hands-on role supports product and process quality across the business, reporting to the Head of Quality.

You will lead customer and internal investigations, maintain and improve the Quality Management System, drive corrective actions and collaborate with manufacturing to boost quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Hands-on quality engineering experience across product and process quality.
• Experience leading 8D investigations and corrective actions.
• Experience with internal and supplier quality audits.
• Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer, supplier, and internal quality investigations with RCA.
• Coordinate 8D investigations and customer corrective actions.
• Review and close non-conformance reports and containment.
• Conduct internal audits and support certifications and regulatory audits.
• Promote and ensure compliance with QMS, EHS standards.
• Act as a key contact for customer quality concerns.
