Job summary

Everson Recruitment is seeking an Occupational Health Technician to support the delivery of high-quality occupational health services on-site at the busy dockyard in Devonport, Plymouth. You will perform health surveillance, assist with health promotion, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include conducting audiometry, spirometry and vision screening, keeping confidential records, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Health surveillance assessments including audiometry, spirometry and vision screening.
• Assist in health promotion and education programs.
• Support nurses and physicians in delivering occupational health services.
• Maintain confidential medical records and ensure data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health surveillance including audiometry, spirometry, vision screening and health questionnaires.
• Assist in the delivery of health promotion and education programs.
• Support Occupational Health Nurses and Physicians in providing a comprehensive service.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of all medical interventions.
• Ensure equipment is well-maintained, calibrated and stored properly.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices in the field.
