Reactive Fire Engineer - Night Shifts London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Reporting to the Senior Reactive Engineer, the Reactive Fire Engineer will be key to join the field services and management teams and work permanent night shifts on a 4 on 4 off basis. Focused on reactive works, you will work as part of a team of highly skilled engineers dealing with maintenance of the appropriate contract. The role is based at our Pirin Court Depot, E16 4TL.

Reactive Fire Engineer - Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for fault maintenance and rectification.
  • Ensure all efforts are made to complete all works to a high standard (first-time fix).
  • Attend and rectify daily faults.
  • Keep the Senior Reactive Engineer updated with any issues faced and progress.
  • Practice and promote a safe working environment and culture on site.
  • Assist the Senior Engineers with scheduling and allocation of work.
Who you are:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an engineer to join our expanding team on the Fire contract. The role requires availability for permanent night shifts on a 4 on, 4 off schedule. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in fault maintenance and rectification. If you're ready to take on this challenging role and contribute to a growing team, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Requirements:
  • Work permanent nights from 7 pm to 7 am, on a 4 nights on, 4 nights off schedule.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Understanding of isolations and faults relating to the 1FM Fire contract.
  • Proven experience within a reactive maintenance environment.
  • Experience working alone or in large teams in single or multi-site maintenance and installation activities.
