Job summary

The Alpha Academies Trust is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to support the Finance Director in delivering high-quality financial management, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial control across the Trust. Based at The Discovery Academy with travel across the Trust.

This on-site role operates 8:00am–4:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am–3:30pm on Friday, supporting strategic development and financial sustainability across multiple academies.

Qualifications

• CCAB qualified accountant
• Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience
• Can analyse and present financial information clearly
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
• Experience in Academy Trust/education/public sector environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Support Finance Director in delivering financial management, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial control across the Trust
• Provide accurate financial information, analysis and advice to support effective decision-making
• Work with Principals, budget holders and senior leaders across the Trust
• Role based fully on-site at The Discovery Academy with travel across the Trust
