Job summary

Guidant Global is seeking an Identity & Access Management (IdAM) Architect to join our Security Architecture team in Cheltenham on-site. You will shape enterprise identity solutions, support transformation initiatives, and work with risk advisors and stakeholders to embed security by design.

You should have proven experience in IdAM, SSO, MFA, IGA, PAM, and federation technologies. The role requires cloud experience and strong communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as IdAM Architect or Security Architect.
• Strong IAM concepts: SSO, MFA, IGA, PAM, Federation.
• Experience with cloud transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist security and identity architecture support across strategic programmes including IdAM, cloud transformation.
• Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies, technical requirements, and operating models.
• Conduct security architecture reviews, risk analyses, and integration assessments to support secure outcomes.
• Partner with Solution and System Architects to embed security principles throughout design and delivery.
• Verify that Security Control Objectives and guardrails are followed across services and platforms.
• Provide detailed technical risk analysis to Risk Advisors for risk reviews.
• Design and implement identity and security solutions, including defining methodologies, standards, technologies and processes.
• Support deployment and integration of security tools and ensure operational readiness.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with standards, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in incident response investigations and contribute to security awareness initiatives.
• Identify security gaps and provide guidance on system enhancements to improve posture.
• Produce security reports and architecture documentation, analysing trends and risks.
• Support the wider Security Architecture team through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
