Job summary

Atlas Workplace Services is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our on-site engineering team at Brindley Place, Birmingham. This static role delivers both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across air conditioning, refrigeration, and building services, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualified NVQ Level 2 / C&G 2079 with F-Gas Cat 1 is required, plus experience with Maximo/CAFM on Android tablets and multi-site service

Qualifications

Qualified Air Conditioning Engineer NVQ level 2 in given trade C&G 2079 F‑Gas Cat1 Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience for this
Good understanding of modern office software.
Experience of asset/work management systems such as MAXIMO / CAFM systems on Android tablets.
Strong competencies with A/C split units and VRV/VRF systems.
1 year experience in customer facing outsourcing environment.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Diagnose faults and undertake repairs across HVAC equipment.
Support the delivery of minor works and building services maintenance activities.
Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Maintain regular communication with colleagues, contractors, and client representatives.
Provide technical advice and support to customers and the wider engineering team.
Contribute to achieving exceptional customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivery.
Record all works in Maximo CAFM and manage labour/materials for minor works quotations.
