Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Daventry is seeking an Health, Safety & Environmental Technician to support the engineering function on-site. The role is permanent and site-based, with a 37.5 hour week and a PM shift rotation (1 week in 4).

Days and PM shifts are defined, and the PM rotation cycles quarterly. You will help implement HSE plans, promote a strong safety culture, report incidents, participate in risk assessments, and support inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing HSE plans by applying corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
• Promote a strong HSE culture by identifying hazards and reinforcing safety initiatives.
• Assist in reporting work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, and hazards with timely documentation.
• Participate in hazard identification, risk assessments and incident investigations to determine root causes.
• Conduct and support HSE inspections and audits to identify improvement opportunities and regulatory compliance.
• Gather and maintain HSE data to support trend analysis and performance monitoring.
• Communicate HSE expectations clearly to employees to build awareness across the site.
• Support environmental management activities and basic administrative tasks.
