Job summary

GBR Recruitment Ltd are partnering with a leading construction & civils business to recruit an experienced HR Officer. You will support the SMT and employees with HR processes, with a key focus on employee relations, training and HR systems while ensuring policy compliance.

The role is on-site at the Leicestershire depot, with visits to live sites across the county. CIPD Level 5 or progression is preferred; interviews are immediate with August/September start possible.

Qualifications

• HR generalist with CIPD Level 5 focus on ER, training and systems.
• Support SMT and employees with HR processes and policies.
• Adhere to employment legislation and GDPR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage all ER and performance cases to resolution.
• Coach leads to manage employee relations, performance and wellbeing.
• Support organisational structure changes across the group.
• Deliver recruitment from advertising to on-boarding.
• Prepare contractual paperwork and drive fair hiring practices.
• Lead apprenticeships and early careers partnerships.
• Maintain HR data and produce reports/dashboards.
• Support payroll processes and quarterly refresher training.
