Job Description:

We are looking for someone to be a handmade jewellery online store assistant for a growing handmade jewellery brand. This is an ON SITE role, and candidates must be local to the Wimborne/Poole/Bournemouth area and be able to travel.

Applicants must also be self-employed and responsible for their own taxes and national insurance, and invoices must be sent weekly to be paid directly by the director.

There will be a non-disclosure agreement to be signed, and a contract too. Note: The above are musts for us.

The role involves:

• Researching popular products on Etsy/other sites
• Creating/designing new products using pre-supplied visual elements and clip art
• Suggesting new product ideas
• Taking pictures/videos
• Editing pictures/videos in Canva
• Listing in accordance with instructions
• General workshop upkeep/tidying of office
• Social media content creation and captions
• General day-to-day assistance
• Fulfilling orders from various platforms

Qualities required:

• Extensive online and computer experience
• Creative eye
• Trustworthy
• Photography and video assistance (with phone)
• Listing in online marketplaces
• Social media management (Instagram)
• Ability to follow instructions and think creatively

Workplace:

You will work directly with the CEO in a garden office. The environment is very relaxed, with multiple spaces to work on a laptop (supplied for on-site use).

Hours/Scope:

• 6-12 hours per week, mainly Monday and Tuesday
• No fixed start time as long as the workload is completed to a good standard
• Potential 3-6 month project with possibility for ongoing position
• Laptop will be supplied for on-site use
