We are looking for someone to be a handmade jewellery online store assistant for a growing handmade jewellery brand. This is an ON SITE role, and candidates must be local to the wimborne/poole/bournemouth area and be able to travel.
Applicants must also be self-employed and responsible for their own taxes and national insurance, and invoices must be sent weekly to be paid directly by the director.
There will be a non-disclosure agreement to be signed, and a contract too.
Note: The above are musts for us.
The job role itself is for a online store assistant and will require you to be able to:
Researching popular products on Etsy/other sites
Creating/designing new products using pre supplied visual elements and clip art
Suggesting new product ideas
Taking pictures/video
Editing pictures/videos in canva
Listing in accordance to instructions
General workshop upkeep/tidying of office
Social media content and captions
General day to day assistance
Fulfilling orders from various platforms
Qualities:
Extensive online and computer experience
Creative eye
Trustworthy
Photography and video assistance (with phone)
Listing in online marketplaces
Social media (Instagram)
Following instructions, but also thinking of creative solutions
Workplace:
You will be working directly with the CEO in a garden office.
Very chilled atmosphere with multiple relaxed spaces to work with a laptop (supplied to use whilst on site)
Hours/Job scope:
6-12 hours a week to be done Monday and Tuesday.
No particular start time as long as the workload is done to a good standard.
Possible 3-6 month project but depending on candidate, has potential to turn into an ongoing position
Laptop will be supplied to use on site
