Job summary

PRIMERO CONTRACTS LIMITED in Dundee seeks a full-time Estimator to prepare accurate construction cost estimates by reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents. You will perform quantity take-offs, analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations and develop detailed cost breakdowns and tender submissions.

You will collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure budgets are realistic, assess risks, and reflect current market conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience in reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Ability to perform quantity take-offs and analyze quotations.
• Develop detailed cost breakdowns and tender submissions.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Relevant qualification in construction or quantity surveying (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of UK building regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates from drawings and tender documents.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and evaluate supplier/subcontractor报价.
• Develop cost breakdowns and tender submissions for bids.
• Collaborate with project managers and site teams to reflect current market conditions and budgets.
• Update cost databases and maintain estimates records.
• Support value engineering and cost-control throughout the project lifecycle.
