Manpower is currently looking for an On-site Enterprise Scheduling Co-ordinator (self-employed) based in Cambridge.

Our client inspires and supports discoveries that improve quality of life. They provide instruments, services, consumables, and expertise to life science, diagnostic, and applied market laboratories worldwide. They enable customers to gain insights to improve the world around us.

They are collaborating with a leading pharmaceutical company in the UK and seek a qualified individual for the role of on-site Enterprise Scheduling Coordinator. This role involves managing vendor engineers (third-party/subcontractors) for on-site maintenance and maintaining a detailed schedule of services to ensure customer satisfaction.

The candidate will be committed to providing exceptional customer satisfaction at a fast-paced pharmaceutical site. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling engineers for onsite maintenance, managing service plans, building customer relationships, coordinating engineer visits, and performing administrative duties. Additional tasks include monitoring performance metrics, handling customer queries, managing assets, generating reports, scheduling training, supervising costs, and resolving complex departmental issues.

Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Deliver high customer satisfaction in a dynamic, fast-paced site.
  • Plan and schedule engineers for onsite maintenance activities.
  • Manage and update service plans, ensuring completion and responding to breakdown requests.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, communicate effectively about scheduling and activities.
  • Support service delivery and serve as the first point of contact for contracts and queries.
  • Coordinate engineer visits for successful service completion.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as quotations, purchase orders, logistics, and service orders.
  • Monitor performance metrics to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
  • Respond to customer queries via phone, email, or onsite.
  • Manage customer assets, ensuring accurate inventories.
  • Generate reports and update information systems.
  • Schedule inductions and onsite training for vendors.
  • Supervise costs and prepare financial reports for customers.
  • Resolve complex problems across departments.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in administrative, scheduling, or customer service roles.
  • A university degree in Life Science or a Technical field is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience in a laboratory environment and GMP is a plus.
  • Personal qualities include autonomy, customer focus, teamwork, strong interpersonal and communication skills, a can-do attitude, problem-solving ability, and excellent planning and organizational skills.

This is a self-employed, ongoing position with an immediate start, working from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, paying £18-£20 per hour depending on experience.
