Job summary

Gold Group is seeking a Software Integration Engineer for an on-site, permanent role in Christchurch, Dorset. You will build and integrate Windows Server and Windows 10/11 environments, configure COTS and bespoke software, and follow robust software engineering practices within a team supporting a MoD command and control system.

The ideal candidate has PowerShell experience, MDT deployment knowledge, AD/GP proficiency, and a track record of producing clear technical documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UK work experience and eligibility for SC clearance.
• Experience configuring Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2019/2022 using MDT and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Group Policy and Active Directory.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure Windows Server 2019/2022 and Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Integrate and configure COTS and bespoke software.
• Adhere to software engineering practices.
• Fault finding and resolution of issues in a production environment.
• Produce clear and concise technical documentation.
• Collaborate with team members and provide progress feedback to leadership.
• Occasional travel to customer sites to support deployment and testing.
