Job summary

MorePeople is seeking a Site Manager for Yorkshire-based projects. You will lead on-site activity, report to the Operations Manager, and coordinate with the Project Manager to meet the delivery programme while prioritising health and safety.

The role requires SMSTS, a Site Manager CSCS card, and experience managing on-site teams. A First Aid at Work certificate and full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• SMSTS and a Site Manager CSCS card are essential.
• Experience managing site operatives day to day.
• First Aid at Work certificate.
• Full UK driving licence and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend project sites as directed.
• Supervise the project on site, ensure client requirements are met, review progress and monitor costs with the Project Manager.
• Deliver all site health and safety requirements, including inductions and ensuring risk assessments and method statements are followed.
• Manage day-to-day activity for staff, contractors and subcontractors.
• Ensure PPE is worn as directed and manage spare PPE stock.
• Secure the site, plant and materials daily.
• Maintain quality control in line with company procedures.
• Liaise with clients, their representatives, subcontractors and, occasionally, members of the public.
