Job summary

VervLife is seeking a General Manager to lead the on-site team and foster a vibrant community within our building in Greater London. You will drive revenue to meet or exceed targets, manage costs within budget, and uphold the highest standards of resident service while maintaining asset quality.

The role requires strong management capabilities, experience in residential property or hospitality, and knowledge of English letting standards. Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• ARLA/IRPM qualification desirable.
• Experience in residential property or hospitality sectors.
• Knowledge of English statutory letting requirements.
• Strong management skills and experience working to budgets and targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site team management and ensure a vibrant community within the building.
• Drive revenue to meet or exceed targets and manage costs within budget.
• Ensure the highest member satisfaction in service, responsiveness and community spirit.
• Plan and schedule work streams, provide clear instructions and promote team communication.
• Lead budget setting processes and produce regular asset performance reports with clear strategies.
• Oversee building operations, maintenance, health & safety compliance, and contractor performance.
• Maintain H&S compliance and risk assessments on site; manage supplier compliance.
