Claret Civil Engineering Ltd is seeking a dependable Clean Water Operative to join our team in Bury St Edmunds. You will support maintenance work on storage point assets such as reservoirs, water towers, and pumping stations, with hands-on site duties and teamwork.

The role requires adherence to safety standards, willingness to work outdoors, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Driving licence is preferred; travel may be required to suit project needs.

Aufgaben

• Carry out clean water maintenance and general site activities safely and in accordance with supervisor instructions.
• Support planned and reactive works on storage point assets and associated clean water infrastructure.
• Assist with cleaning, inspection, repair, installation, excavation, reinstatement and site preparation activities as required.
• Follow risk assessments, method statements, permits, hygiene controls and site rules at all times.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, site cleanliness, PPE use and protection of clean water assets from contamination.
• Use hand tools, powered tools, plant and equipment only where trained, competent and authorised.
• Report hazards, defects, near misses, damage or concerns promptly to the supervisor or manager.
• Complete job sheets, photographs and other site records when required, and represent Claret professionally on client sites.
