Claret Civil Engineering Ltd is seeking a reliable Clean Water Operative to join a on-site team in Bury St Edmunds. The role involves hands-on maintenance of storage point assets such as reservoirs, towers, and pumping stations, with responsibilities across cleaning, inspection support, repairs, and site prep.

You will work safely under supervisor guidance, follow risk assessments, and maintain hygiene standards while assisting on various water infrastructure projects.

• Ability to work outdoors and undertake physically demanding site tasks safely.
• Willingness to travel and work flexibly to suit project requirements.

Mansioni

• Carry out clean water maintenance and general site activities safely and in accordance with supervisor instructions.
• Support planned and reactive works on storage point assets and associated clean water infrastructure.
• Assist with cleaning, inspection, repair, installation, excavation, reinstatement and site preparation activities as required.
• Follow risk assessments, method statements, permits, hygiene controls and site rules at all times.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene, site cleanliness, PPE use and protection of clean water assets from contamination.
• Use hand tools, powered tools, plant and equipment only where trained, competent and authorised.
• Report hazards, defects, near misses, damage or concerns promptly to the supervisor or manager.
• Complete job sheets, photographs and other site records when required, and represent Claret professionally on client sites.
